- Plastic Armchairs were first presented as part of a New York Museum of Modern Art competition, “Low Cost Furniture Design”. Despite the success of this new generation of Plastic Chairs, Vitra never lost interest in the original material and continued to monitor advancements in fiberglass production methods.
Materials: dyed-through, glass-fibre reinforced polyester.
