Artek is a Finnish brand founded in 1935, and acquired by Vitra in 2013. Today Artek are renowned as one of the most innovative contributors to modern design, creating new paths at the intersection of architecture, design and art. The Artek collection includes furniture, accessories and lighting designed by some of the greatest names of midcentury and modern design, such as Alvar Aalto, Eero Aarnio, Konstantin Grcic and Hella Jongerius.
