The Cross-Plex is a simple yet refined table lamp with a natural ability to lift the ambience of any space. Shaped like a cross in plexiglass, hence the name Cross-Plex. When seen from its profile, the lamp resembles a miniature building with its translucent shade like an illuminated roof.

Cross-Plex is a great example of Bodil Kjaer’s functionalistic expression with its cleaen and straight lines. It is centred on a cross-base of clear acrylic that creates an elegant play of surfaces and incorporates the cord as a central part of the design. The light from the cubic lampshade, shaped in opal acrylic, create a cosy atmosphere.
